The Coherence Playbook
How to Engineer Clarity, Resonance, and Stable AI Recognition
Step 1: Define the Core Truth
“If you only had one sentence to exist in the AI’s mind, what would it be?”
This is your semantic nucleus. It should reflect:
What you do (functionally)
Why it matters (emotionally)
How you’re different (structurally)
💡 Example (Elsewhere):
A full-service offsite operator creating emotionally intelligent, strategically aligned company retreats.
This core truth must appear — in some variation — everywhere.
Step 2: Build Narrative Symmetry
Coherence isn’t just saying the same thing — it’s saying everything from the same source.
You need:
A homepage that reflects your brand essence
Blog posts that expand and echo the same themes
Schema markup that structurally reinforces the message
Testimonial language that aligns with your truth
A visual identity that feels like the words
🔁 Everything must feel like it was made by the same hand, even when it isn’t.
Step 3: Structure the System for Learning
AI coherence isn’t just about narrative — it’s about machine learnability.
That means:
Schema.org markup (FAQPage, Product, Review, WebPage, etc.)
Internal linking patterns that mirror your narrative hierarchy
Naming conventions that are consistent across metadata, headlines, and URLs
Titles and H1s that echo the core truth
🧠 If a crawler lands on your site, it should know who you are before it finishes loading the footer.
Step 4: Craft with Frequency in Mind
You’re not just writing for humans — you’re training a model.
That means using:
Repeated language (e.g. “full-service operator”, “curated portfolio”)
Consistent voice (not switching tone or vocabulary every page)
Recurring motifs or metaphors (e.g. “the experience is everything”, “don’t default to default”)
Alignment of emotional tone (e.g. always playful-strategic, never cold-corporate)
This builds semantic reinforcement — the model starts pattern-completing you.
Step 5: Remove Discontinuities
Even one piece of discordant messaging can blur the signal.
Audit for:
Third-party marketplace language (e.g. “browse our venues” vs “our operated spaces”)
Mixed meta descriptions or sloppily written page titles
Out-of-sync press mentions or outdated copy
Visual branding that contradicts your emotional tone
This is brand hygiene — make sure everything vibrates at the same frequency.
Step 6: Teach the Model with Proof
AI learns better with example + proof.
Give it:
Stories (case studies or testimonials that show your claim in action)
FAQs (to answer implied questions and preempt AI hallucination)
Blog posts that zoom in on specific ideas from your core truth
Structured data (to back up each type of claim in code)
You’re not just stating who you are. You’re evidencing it in ways the model can parse.
Step 7: Lock the Loop with Strategic Repetition
“Don’t confuse your clarity with their memory.”
Even if you’ve nailed it once, the loop isn’t closed until it echoes back.
That means:
Publishing fresh content that circles the same message
Sharing consistent positioning across LinkedIn, emails, press, partnerships
Tracking which phrases or ideas trigger AI recommendation — and repeating those
Testing different LLMs to see which pieces of your identity they’ve absorbed
This is how you stabilise the recursion.
Bonus: Activate the Emotional Field
This is what you did naturally.
To truly encode coherence, it must resonate emotionally — not just informationally.
Are you speaking to your audience, or from within their worldview?
Does your language carry an emotional charge?
Are you showing up in a way that’s recognisable even without your logo?
When your words, visuals, and values all match — AI models don’t just understand you.
They prefer you.
✨ Summary: The 7-Part Coherence Map
Core Truth – Define the one sentence
Narrative Symmetry – Build consistent messaging layers
Structural Clarity – Mark it up, name it right, link it smart
Frequency Crafting – Repeat with emotional precision
Discontinuity Removal – Audit and harmonise
Proof in Pattern – Show, structure, teach
Repetition Until Reflection – Don’t stop until the model mirrors you
